Blue Baby Sophisticate

Hello ladies,
how are you today?

Its finally warming up here in Michigan and i am starting to count down the days we leave to go on a trip to Disney. Lots of things still to get.. i wonder each year where those goggles are i purchase each year for the boys :-) Cant wait to hang out by the pool a little bit and enjoy the sun. The kids are now in a age where i do not feel i constantly need to be with them in the water and have an eye on them like an eagle :-)

Speaking of kids...
One of our friends had a baby boy about a week and a half ago.. she had a really bad pregnancy... so happy for her sweet Andrew is healthy and she can hold him in her arms.

I have knitted her a little cardigan and purchases a pair of pants to go with it. I purchased on purpose not a newborn set because i remember how many things you get in this size and baby grows so fast, i was not even able to put those cute little clothes on my boys

The size you see is a size 6 month and up. Think it should work out fine for the fall too with a long sleeved shirt.
I used for this cardigan the same super soft yarn i used for Camilla's baby's sweater, its just so fun to knit with it.

Here are the supplies i used:

Stamp: Magnolia "Baby"
Sentiment: Papertrey ink
Papers: Maja Design
dies: Go Create, Spellbinders Oval
Charm: Handmade with love - Hobby House

Baby sweater/cardigan:
yarn: Malabrigo Worsted - super wash - Navy
Needles: Addi Lace 5.5
Pattern: Baby Sophisticate - FREE

If you like me to knit a baby sweater for your grandchild or baby, please feel free to contact me at claudiaesrosaathotmail.com.

I would love to do have a reason to make something :-) After my vacation i am going to post a few baby things on Etsy, i knitted in the evenings.

Genie in the bottle

Hello,
i am so sorry for MIA.
First and most importantly... i would like to announce the winner of my Magnolia blog candy.

dear Kelly Neis would you please email me at claudiaesrosaathotmail.com with your address so i can get the stamps out to you?

huge THANK YOU to all of you who took time to comment and all your nice words!

Some of you may have had a chance and hop along the recent Little Darlings blog hop and saw all the wonderful new Spring Collection (Saturated Canary)images which are available to order in Rubber over on Little Darlings or at your favorite online shop. Keep your eyes peeled at Sir Stampalot - the shop even offers now classes you can take featuring Little Darlings Saturated Canary images.

Over the weekend i was able to whip a small little card out using "Genie".
I liked the idea with a wiper card, using the girl on the front and than when pulled the magic lamp appears.
The tutorial for that card is on Splitcoast and of course you can modify the size as you like. I made once one for Magnolia Ink in 5.5 square.

Quick little Blog Candy - and some photos of my house

Hi girls,
i have had a few weeks ago a blog candy up and i have tried to contact the lady multiple times. I cant get a hold of her.. so i would love to offer the 2 Magnolia stamps once again to one of you. It would be too bad to have those stamps sit in my kitchen for even longer and get lost in the mist of all the cleaning and moving stuff around :-)

I will close the candy on Wednesday this week, so just add your name here with a comment and i will let you know later this week.

I would love to show you what i have done in the past few weeks... i went through "almost" every drawer to clean and tidy out spaces in order to put our house on the market for sale. We have painted our Master Bedroom and all trims. At the moment we work on the backyard (i have to go out later and do some more weeding), we paint the outside of our house, add in the basement an other bathroom and we completely gut our sun room and all this we want to get done by the end of May because we will be for a week on vacation, which would be a great time for showings. HOW my husband thinks he can get this all done with his job schedule - i have no clue but i will stay positive.

Here are some photos i took over the weekend of the rooms, my real estate agent asked me to do this for her. Now i know usually it would be her job but i think if i do it, i might get better photos than if she is just rushing through it.

This is my - awh wait our :-) living room I love to knit on the sofa in front of the big picture window - plus it has the best view to the tv lol sorry hubby :-) first come first serve

This is my craft room/study room for the boys - i showed you in December some photos of it but i did some SERIOUS clean up . I am actually even worried if i find my stuff in the boxes because it moved all over the place. I should have taken time and labeled all the boxes in December. Oh, well

Here is a peek of our basement after the water damage we have had last year. I love it. It's pretty contemporary - the boys hang out there all the time. We also have a 4. bedroom down there for guests and see the door on the left? This is where the new bathroom is going to be. I have white marble floors and white with white glass tiles. I just found some yesterday for an awesome deal at Costco on clearance. Score! We had planned to add a wet bar with fridge and a Granit counter top in that little nook where you see the toy box but we are no longer doing that. I know the house will sell without spending even more money.
Thank you everybody xo
Love
Claudia
